The Magic Valley News publication and website has been the brain-child of CJ Holmes, Editor & Webmaster.

In July 2016, CJ was invited to the board of Hagerman I.D.E.A., Inc, non-profit corporation, EIN 71-0893282.

One of her first volunteer projects undertaken was a 1700 issue per month newsletter specifically for Hagerman & Bliss, called the Hagerman Valley News.  Eventually expanding to Wendell & Gooding, the name changed to Gooding County News in 2021.   Upon request, the magazine name was changed to Magic Valley News and expanded to encompass the entire Magic Valley in June 2023.

With a supportive board of directors, advisers and a staff of seven seniors, she is building a non-profit that not only serves the residents, businesses and visitors of Magic Valley, but will last through the years.

Her mantra has always been “Building Mind Share”, a marketing, branding and advertising staple.
